DR. LEONARD DIRENFELD
MD, CCFP Dr. Leonard Direnfeld has practiced family medicine since 1982 with a clinical focus on thyroid disorders and use of desiccated thyroid. He was an attending at Sunnybrook Hospital's Long Term Care Veterans Ward from 1982-2012. Dr. Direnfeld is also a member of American Academy of Environmental Medicine & The Institute of Functional Medicine. Dr. Direnfeld is a highly experienced and passionate doctor who has practiced at the forefront of integrative and functional medicine for many years, and who has been helping individuals suffering with complex, chronic health issues. |

DR. SAMUEL DIRENFELD
MD, CCFP, M.BIOTECH, Diplomat American Board of Obesity Medicine Dr Samuel Direnfeld offers full spectrum, patient centred, family medicine and enjoys working with patients of all ages. He has a special interest in using nutritional and lifestyle interventions to treat the root cause of illness and works with many patients with metabolic disease, diabetes and/or obesity. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Aside from his family practice, Dr S. Direnfeld is a physician at a nursing home and has privileges at Scarborough Health Network. Dr S. Direnfeld completed his medical degree, followed by his Family Medicine residency at McMaster University. Prior to this he obtained his master’s degree in Biotechnology at the University of Toronto. |
